When I go to the sample pages or the pages in the cgi-bin directory I get the pages, yet the minivend tags are showing on the page also. This would tell me that the pages are not passing through the server, yet it is running. Now if I do the su -c "/usr/local/minivend/bin/minivend -r" minivend command it says the following:

If you have installed MV as an user root and MV is an user (for
example) "minivend" and the group of MV is "minivend" and the directory
of MV is (for example) /home/minivend. The simple solution is (so I
think):

1) chown -R minivend:miniven /home/minivend/*
   (or chown -r .....)
2) log in as an user "minivend" and make your all stuff with MV as an
user "minivend"
