need a little support with RH5.0
****** message to minivend-users from "Pranav Kumar" <pranav@sentire.com> ******
Hi All,
I tried getting Minivend 3.11 running on Redhat 5.0/Apache 1.2.4/Perl5.00404
and
after some struggling the minivend server is starting, makecat is successful
in creating the simple catalog. (no errors are reported during start of the
daemon as well as during catalog creation.)
However, The catalog pages are still not working correctly.
1) I get the opening Art Store page - the links from which are not working
at all. They are looking for files in the cgi-bin directory which are not
available. Could you tell me if it is normal that after you set up the
'simple' catalog only one file is placed in the cgi-bin/simple directory
called 'executable'.
2) If I try to access the URL "http://localhost.localdomain:7786/mv_admin"
the message appended to the error.log file is "Runtime error: Need URI::URL
for this functionality."
Here are the contents of my error.log file.
[rhuser@localhost mvend]$ tail -20 error.log
