****** message to minivend-users from Mi-Recordz <mi-r@mi-recordz.com> ******
I would have sent this direct to you but it's probably on other peoples
minds also. You said, "I started this business with zero
Linux knowledge, and zero database knowledge..." This pretty much
summarizes my current status. I am hoping that you can direct me towards
a couple solutions.
I've successfuly installed and have "simple" running on my linux/apache
server. After doing a quick scan of MiniVend, It's become obvious that
I need to preclude my MiniVend adventure with a study of Perl. I need to
do two things, develope an understanding of the perl language and figure
out whether there are any tools other than a text editor for working
with Perl code. Could you tell me if there's an interface to perl for
creating and managing databases? If so, what's it called and if you've
an URL that would be great also. I've looked for interfaces in the past
but have been left feeling confused.
Any suggestions are appreicated
