The site says it is a glibc call that is busted but who really cares. The point is
there is no detail to how redhat is broken and it gets pretty confusing revising
and switching between making tar'd versions and official releases from redhat. I'm
a perl programmer and I didn't know RH's 5.0 version was broken until I started
working with minivend.
