I develop MiniVend on RedHat Linux, so obviously it can work. As to why
it didn't break on you before, most Perl programs don't push Perl quite
as hard as MiniVend does. 8-)

The reason I don't go into how RedHat's various Perl packages are broken
is because every time they issue an RPM they break it in a different way.
I can count at least three bogus packages they have issued since 5.0 was
put out.

I don't know why they don't just get the Perl source and do:

	./Configure -des && make test && make install
	
and RPM the results. That is all I do to get a working Perl.

Then if you do:

	perl -MCPAN -e 'install Bundle::Minivend'

you will install all of the modules that MiniVend wants (exclusive of
DBI) and be in business.
