Im still having a problem with user specific configurations in IC UI

I have a sub users for item changes (description, price etc.),
when I only turn on 'Item editor' in the Access > Users > Permissions
This user still has **Items, **Merchandising on the menu.
I dont use merchandising for this catalog, but I cant Figure
out how to disable merchandising from coming up in the menu
I just cant figure out how IC manages UI users,

 Any out there had that problem in the past, by chance?
or know how to deal with it,..
