I don't think so. Just suddenly one day the old mailing list was gone, and a
new one was in it's place, With oblique references on the new list to Red Hat
having dropped Interchange. Mike made a reference to the fact that he was no
longer employed by Red Hat since they had abandoned his project.

Therefore Interchange no longer lived at Red Hat, but (successfully) found a
new place to live.

MS would have bought it to take control and make money. While not as brazen
about it as MS, RH has been displaying a general trend toward this for a
number of years.
MS wouldn't want it because they can't deal with Open Source and there is no
way to change Interchange from Open Source.

Yes, it is in good hands. Very good hands. Did RH orchestrate this new
structure? Not from anything that I have seen. The illusion that has been
painted is that RH didn't care. Affecianados of IC (including the author)
banded together to organize and continue on. This untied Mikes hands which
will, undoubtedly, bring even more improvements.
