[ic] IC 4.8.5 under FreeBSD 4.6 and 4.5 and trouble with genconfig and version.tag

I am running FreeBSD 4.6-RC and InterChange 4.8.5, on Perl 5.6.1.
It is working just fine.

Not that I didn't have loads of trouble setting it up, especially with a lot
of the PGP stuff. There did seem to be some answers to my problems in FAQs
and the forum.

My guess is that the perl installation is different on the systems you have
with 4.6 and 4.5 than on the 4.4 one.
Maybe check that they are installed in the same path, and that the right
version is first in the path? (# which perl).

Good luck,
