[ic] Keeping images in sync with the product-db

I have an image gallery in one of my catalogs. Uploading images works fine
(if the user remembers to rename the standard image names from DSC_0001.jpg
to something else), but deleting them makes me some trouble... What I'm
looking for is an easy way in deleting the image from the imagedir either
with a daily cronjob, or when the user hits the delete-button.

Does anyone have any suggestions in how I should do this? I would also need
to delete all images from the 200x200 etc. directories. (created by the
image-tag and imagemagick: [image src=foo.gif makesize=200x200])
