Re: How to edit a MV page, was <no subject>

Marie:

(You should include a subject next time.)

I my case I have to delete the original file from the server before I can upload the changed page via FTP.  My server does not allow a replace action, just create and delete.  That may be your problem.

As for using FrontPage or any other HTML editor, I'll throw this question out to the rest of the mail list.  "Has anyone had any success editing MV html with HTML editors?"  I've had to redo so many pages after they were edited with a HTML editor that I have banned anything but plain-text editors like 'notepad' and 'vi' for editing pages.  Is this the general consensus?

Cheers,
Gerard
