My concern too, filtering what is unsaid or deliberately misleading.

The Microsoft page says IIS (not apache) and IE. What was unclear to
me is whether it affected only the COMBINATION IIS and IE or whether
it affects IE regardless of server. It looked like it might relate to
IIS libraries. The "krb*" worries me even more; here we go again....
If it affects all servers, maybe they will issue a patch for IIS
and tell IE users to pressure ISP's to upgrade to a "modern" OS and server,
eg IIS.
I suppose you could check browser headers and send an option page:
1) Download fixed IE - really, they got it right this time
2) This browser broken - checkout no cert
3) print this page and mail with check - or call 1.800.....
