PHP and minivend are similiar in that they both create their own
language.  They are very different in that minivend is more or less
a state engine aimed at transactions and PHP is a semi-dynamic
page generator.  At least they started that way.

My understanding is that most people using minivend are using little
if any perl.  That surprised me, but Mike pointed out to me it is so.
Odds are same is true of those who use PHP.

Which one is easier depends entirely on one's environment and what
one brings to the table.

How about anyone interested in PHP check out the site(s) and mailing lists
and get this list back OT?
