[mv] Limit a list

How can I do this - if I have a search or a sql select that will return perhaps
100 rows, I don't want to display all 100 rows at one time, but maybe 10 at a
time, with a next and previous button, and maybe even a first and last button,
leading to the respective batch of rows.
This ought to be a FAQ, but I couldn't find this in the dox. Maybe I'm looking
for the wrong keywords, but please don't bite at me.
