Hmmm... the permission in etc look OK, but Ed has said, it has a wrong
group/user name. _This_ cause the failure in my FreeBSD. If i stop the
MV server, use the chown command to set right group/user name and start
the MV server again, it works fine.

you. I use FreeBSD 3.4-STABLE
